Eileen is our first employee, the veteran on the Dover Hall Experiences team and has been working at Dover Hall since 2014. We like to say she came with the house when Jeff & Chad signed the lease.

 

She is a native Richmonder, but you can often find her spending her weekends on the coast. Eileen’s utmost priority is to treat every person who comes through the front doors as our honorary guest. She keeps the estate in pristine condition: if it’s broken, she fixes it (or hires someone to fix it)!

• Hometown: Richmond, VA

• Favorite part of the wedding day: My favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the bride all ready and watching her first look—whether it’s with her dad or the groom! It’s always such a fun and emotional moment… I even get choked up. I also love the father-daughter dance and the song choices—same goes for when the groom dances with his mom.

• When I'm not at DH you can find me... In my spare time, I love going to the beach—the British Virgin Islands are a favorite. I enjoy dining out at nice restaurants with good friends. I’m also a big college football fan! Going to games is always so much fun, but I also love watching with friends at home and enjoying the best tailgate food. The same goes for college basketball—I especially love being at live games and feeling the energy in the gym. I enjoy the theatre, too. Musicals are my favorite! It’s rare that I get to go to New York City to see a show, but when I do, it’s such an unforgettable experience.

• What I like most about my job: My favorite part of the job is the variety – it keeps things interesting because no day is the same. It has been a pure joy to see Dover Hall grow to become Virginia’s premier event venue!
