Dover Hall Experiences is a luxury hospitality company led by the visionary duo - Jeff Ottaviano and Chad Hornik. “We never imagined that what started as a friendship 14 years ago would become such a wild and exciting ride. Our mutual passion for fine wine, delicious food, and travel, plus nearly 40 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry, prompted the decision to form Dover Hall Experiences in early 2017. Our mission is to build a team dedicated to providing GENUINE HOSPITALITY at our portfolio of venues offering Unrivaled Events, Thoughtful Cuisine, and Intentional Service. In just six years, we have assembled a team of the region’s best hospitality heroes and are offering a product second to none at all of our properties, including our 7 Lady Vineyards Tasting Room coming in 2024. Our Growth
July 2017
Jeff and Chad launch Dover Hall Experiences, LLC and assume management of the 55 acre Goochland property, Dover Hall.
June 2019
The seed is planted for 7 Lady Vineyards, with more than 4,000 Cabernet Franc and Viognier vines in the front yard at Dover Hall.
July 2018
DHE celebrates its first birthday with the grand opening of the Bed & Breakfast, featuring 10 luxurious lodging suites.
January 2019
Installation of a 9,000 square foot patio directly outside the grand ballroom enables use of a 60' x 135' tent and in turn event capacity for up to 400 guests.
April 2023
The Glass Hall is added to Dover Hall, a 6,400 square climate- controlled event space that provides hosting capabilities for up to 400 guests.
December 2019
DHE opens its first sister property, Located in Short Pump’s West Broad Village, Bartizan is a full-service event venue.
January 2024
7 Lady Vineyards boasts over 30 varietals in its international wine portfolio and has a robust Wine Club program!

7 Lady Vineyards boasts Virginia's Award-Winning Wine Experience with an international wine portfolio that celebrates premium wines hand-selected from the world’s most notable regions. Our Tasting Room will be coming soon in 2024! Our wines currently hold one double-gold and four silver medals from the San Francisco International Wine Competition and one gold, nine silver, and one bronze medal from the VA Governor's Cup Wine Competition.
