Melissa began her higher education journey pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University, expanding her knowledge and honing her skills in various disciplines. As the Director of Sales & Marketing for a prominent Catering/Event Planning Company in the Northern VA/DC area, Melissa has carved a path of success. Her exceptional leadership and strategic vision have played a pivotal role in the company's growth and reputation. With her expertise, she orchestrates seamless events, leaving a lasting impression on clients and attendees alike. Growing up as the youngest of six, she learned the value of strong relationships and the importance of cherishing family bonds. Now, with four children and three grandchildren, her family is at the core of her heart. When Melissa isn't creating remarkable experiences or spending time with her loved ones, she embarks on culinary adventures. Exploring new restaurants and delighting in diverse cuisines fuels her passion for food. She enjoys experimenting with new recipes in her own kitchen, always seeking to expand her culinary horizons.
