Nick Lawrence 


A Powhatan native, Nick began his career as a dishwasher at Salisbury Country Club and was quickly promoted to Sous Chef, where he sharpened his technical culinary skills for the next seven years. In 2020, Nick joined the Dover Hall team, where he loves how much access we have to fresh ingredients. Chef tastings are one of Nick’s favorite events to cook because of the opportunity to experiment and get creative with seasonal ingredients and new techniques. It’s hard for Nick to pick a favorite dish to make, but you’ll often find that his food has a French influence. When not at Dover Hall, you will find him exploring the outdoors, rollerblading, trying new restaurants, or enjoying a beer at the Mill at Fine Creek.
