Robert Howell

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT | robert@doverhall.com

Robert joins Dover Hall Experiences by way of New York City where he produced corporate events, television shows, commercials, and outdoor concerts for over twenty years. Robert’s most memorable production experiences occurred on New York City’s Governors Island, an island in the Hudson River off the southern tip of Manhattan. Robert was a Producer and Director of Logistics for the Governors Island Concert Series, Governors Ball, and Dave Mathews’ Caravan. His role was to arrange the transport, on and off the island, of all infrastructure for the festival cities via ferry and barge including the bands, management, production personnel, electric, potable water, staging, lighting, sound, tenting, food, beverage, and tens of thousands of guests. Robert is still thankful that all of Dave Mathews’ eighteen, eighty-five-foot semi-tractor trailers made the safe passage. When not working on special projects for Dover Hall Experiences, Robert enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Emily, and together, they curate Mystic Osprey Gallery in Richmond where they represent collectible fine artists who spotlight nature, wildlife, and conservation. Robert graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in English Literature, is inspired by Thoreau and Emerson, roots for the Boston Red Sox, and thinks Richmond, VA is the best, small city in our country.
